I have cut some beautiful vintage fabrics today, which I am eagerly anticipating their completion!!!! They are one of my favourite styles - the beautiful 'princess' style, by mini mermaid.  

Here is a sneak peak of two fabrics! 

Summer 2010-2011 will see most mini mermaid dresses including a beautiful removable brooch, which enables you to mix and match your entire wardrobe!!  The princess dress RRP @ $69 with the brooch @ $10 ... for a short time the complete ensemble will be $50 ... so get in quick while they last!!!

butterfly dreams ...

I have surrounded myself with many new butterfly 'things' lately

 ... and tonight I have created a beautiful butterfly buntings!

 The detail is amazing!!!

 This mini bunting is hand stamped and hand sewn vintage childrens storybooks

 ... and I like it alot ;-)

Well it has been another busy weekend ... I have done a huge amount of boutique kids markets this year, and I now have 3 left before the end of the year!

So I am eagerly awaiting Christmas and School holidays, and am anticipating spending some quality time with my very gorgeous and very cheeky daughters ;-)

sun, surf, sand, bbq's and backyard cricket - gotta love our Aussie christmas!  Well, I am getting ready for my first christmas market for the year, tomorrow.

So ... as well as all my usual mini mermaid goodies, I have made

some gorgeous 'tree decorations/gift tags'! 

I am looking forward to putting heaps on our tree this year ... you just can't beat a bit of handmade love, at special times of the year!

today it's all about headbands ...

Today is all about headbands - this great little style was suggested by miss trinity!

 Here is Trinity (5) and Lily (2) modelling the finished product, with many more colour options to be completed this week!

trick or treat?

There were a lot of trick or treat-er's around this arvo.  Although my girls didn't participate in the 'random house knock' ... Trinity was more than happy to be a 'witch'!

recent holiday in byron bay ...

This was taken at the 'oh so beautiful' Wategos Beach, Byron Bay.  I love love love this beach ... and love the beautiful backdrop of Mt Warning too!  Trinity (5) spent hours creating her mermaid castle, with carefully collected driftwood, seaweed, stones and shells.  Lily (2) tried her best to contribute too!
